Fit & Focused French Press Coffee DIY Video
Pour filtered water into a kettle and heat to 195 degrees (just below boiling). Remove from heat and let sit for 30 seconds.
Pour the water into the French Press.
The standard rule is to add 2 tablespoons ofcoffee groundsper 8 ounces of water. For example, if you add 24 ounces of water to your French Press, you would add a total of 6 tablespoons coffee.
Thoroughly stir the water and coffee grounds together and place the lid onto the French Press. Push the plunger so that it is just barely touching the coffee/water mix.
Set timer and wait for 4 minutes. No more, no less. This will provide the perfect balance of coffee strength and full-bodied taste without any bitterness.
Slowly push down plunger, pour, and enjoy your Fit and Focused Coffee!
